1. About this policy
TerraSatch Inc. (“TerraSatch,” “we,” or “us”) operates terrasatch.com. This notice covers our public website, Satchy Discovery, inquiries, public demo access and field-feedback/check-in forms. Customer workspaces, operational deployments and connected devices may have separate agreements or notices; the public website does not automatically connect to them.
2. Information we receive
- Information you submit: your name, email, organization, role, optional phone number, inquiry, feedback and workflow details, depending on the form you use.
- Discovery inputs: messages and the tools, workflow details or assumptions you choose to provide. A reviewed summary is included with an inquiry only when you separately select that option.
- Technical information: IP/network information, request times, pages requested, device/browser information, approximate location used in traffic measurement, and security or error events handled by our hosting and service providers.
Discovery does not automatically collect precise GPS coordinates, microphone recordings, camera images or radio/drone feeds. Information you type can still contain personal or location details. Please keep confidential, sensitive and third-party personal information out of these public tools.
3. Satchy Discovery
Sending a message sends your recent conversation and selected workflow details to TerraSatch’s hosted inference service to generate a reply. This is server processing, not an entirely on-device chat. The public chat has no access to private workspaces or operational accounts.
Conversation state stays in the current browser tab’s memory. Start over clears that local conversation; reloading or closing the tab also clears it. Successful replies and request identifiers are temporarily held in server memory to prevent duplicate processing. Reuse expires after three minutes; expired entries are removed as further requests arrive or the service restarts. This short-lived cache is not a transcript database.
Discovery does not store conversation text in a transcript database or log raw messages. Application diagnostics record request identifiers, timing and error categories; infrastructure providers can maintain ordinary network/access logs. We do not use these conversations to train or fine-tune models. Start over does not delete an inquiry you already sent or a link you already shared.
4. Review links and reports
Create review link uses the edited brief in your browser. The full link contains the encrypted brief and the key needed to read it; the website does not create a server-side report record. Anyone with the complete link can read the brief. These links do not expire and cannot be centrally revoked. Share them only with intended recipients and avoid sensitive information. Recipients and messaging services can keep their own copies.
Custom Print / Save PDF output uses your browser. The public field-observation sample is an example, not a visitor’s private report. Review pages are excluded from website analytics and offline caching.
5. How we use information
We use information to generate requested Discovery replies, respond to inquiries, arrange Open Beta or demo follow-up, evaluate submitted feedback, maintain site functionality, measure aggregate website traffic, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. Inquiry details are delivered through email and handled by authorized TerraSatch team members. Submitting an inquiry does not enroll you in a marketing list.
6. Service providers and disclosures
Providers process information needed for their part of the service:
- Website hosting and traffic measurement: Vercel. Analytics measures page visits, referrers, device/browser categories and approximate location. It uses request-derived identifiers rather than third-party analytics cookies. See Vercel Web Analytics privacy.
- Discovery and feedback infrastructure: TerraSatch-operated services on Oracle Cloud infrastructure.
- Email delivery and mailboxes: Resend and the email services used by TerraSatch’s team. Delivery failures may use a backup team mailbox. See Resend’s privacy policy.
- Spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile on forms where enabled, processing browser and network signals for verification. See the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
- Typography: pages load Google Fonts, involving requests from your browser to Google. See Google’s privacy policy.
We do not sell or rent information collected through these public features or share it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to address misuse, security incidents or legal claims. Our services and providers may process information in the United States and other countries where their infrastructure operates.
7. Cookies and browser storage
Your browser saves your selected light/dark theme locally. Installing the website as an app caches public pages and assets for offline viewing. Chat/API requests and private review pages are not added to that offline cache. Clearing site data removes local settings and cached pages.
Public demo access uses a necessary, secure demo-access cookie that can remain for up to 30 days; ending the demo session removes it. Verification services can use their own necessary mechanisms. The website does not use advertising cookies. Blocking storage can affect preferences, demo access and offline use.
8. Retention and security
The Discovery memory/cache periods are described above. Inquiries, submitted feedback, email correspondence and relevant technical records are retained as needed for the request, ongoing follow-up, service operation, security and legal obligations. There is no single fixed retention period for all of these records. Provider logs and backups follow the relevant service’s retention settings and policies.
We use HTTPS, access controls and restricted service boundaries to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us to request deletion of information we hold; legal, security or recordkeeping needs may limit immediate deletion.
9. Your choices and rights
You can browse without submitting a form, keep optional fields blank, leave your Discovery summary out of an inquiry, start a new chat, and clear browser storage. You can ask us to stop following up about your request.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a privacy regulator. Email ops@terrasatch.com with your request. We may need reasonable information to verify your identity and locate the relevant record. Withdrawing consent does not change prior lawful processing.
10. Other important details
Our public tools are intended for professional use and are not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information about children. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
Links to other sites and services are governed by their own notices. We update this policy when our practices change and show the revised date here. Material changes will be identified on this page or through another appropriate notice.
